Job requirements and work experience we expect you to have:
Able to work on-site at our Bloomington, IN office Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm
1-2 years HR/recruiting and office environment job experience required
Bachelor's degree required
High attention to detail
Be good with technology: willing and eager to learn how to crop videos, build website content, and use an applicant tracking system
Customer service orientation with a positive attitude
Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
What does a typical week look like for the HR Coordinator? Key areas Include:
Marketing Hanapin - You will be responsible for sourcing, connecting with, and recruiting Hanapin's next great talent through well crafted job descriptions and engaging content on our website and social media platforms.
Applicant Screening - Screen applicant resumes/cover letters to select the best of the best. Manage candidates through the initial stages of the application process and review custom assessments.
Interviews, Trainings, and Hiring Events - help to manage interviews, coordinate our awesome hiring events, schedule our lunch & learns, and coordinate training sessions for new hires.
New Employee Onboarding - Help to manage and continuously improve the employee onboarding process. Work closely with new hires in advance of start date to prepare, as well as help with orientation once at Hanapin. Directly impact and strengthen the new employee experience at Hanapin.
Office Management and Concierge - serve as first contact for all interview candidates both via email and in-person. Be a natural relationship builder that is always willing to help out!
What are some of Hanapin's flagship benefits?
Every quarter, the entire company gets an extra three-day weekend (called 2nd-2nd).
Flexible self-scheduling where team members work any 8 hours between 7am and 7pm.
After their first year, team members may work remote 2 days per week from home.
Performance reviews at 30/60/90 days and semi-annually thereafter.
And of course, we have all the usual suspects, such as IRA with employer match, health, dental, vision, life insurance, 9 paid holidays, and a progressive time off policy with 10 days of PTO year 1, 15 days of PTO thereafter.
