General Description:
The Premier Marketing position will be responsible for the market evaluation and placement of new business, as well as remarketing of existing Premier Accounts. This position requires extensive underwriting knowledge of the affluent / HNW carrier markets with the ability to evaluate and negotiate terms in the best interest of our clients with highly complex insurance or risk management needs. The position will establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with management, producers, and carriers.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze insurance submissions (coverage, limits, deductibles, retentions, classifications, et al) for new and renewal business; recommend improvements to strengthen insurance coverage. Market submissions to carriers, including application preparation, loss analysis and other pertinent information for professional, quality new and renewal submissions. Submit to eligible and appropriate carriers and follow-up to ensure timely receipt of quotes. Analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages, terms and conditions. Communicate and build rapport with insurance company underwriters and brokers to obtain insurance quotes and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions. Respond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner. Prepare new business proposals including program recommendations and other presentation documents to assist sales efforts of Personal Risk Specialists. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems. Collaborate with Personal Risk Specialist and Client Advisors to ensure marketing expectations are being met, agency procedures are followed and marketing activities are adequately documented in agency management system. Complete other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
5 years' experience in Personal Risk Property & Casualty Insurance along with comprehensive understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting and rating concepts. College degree preferred, but not required. Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license or willing to obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe. Hold an industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU or expected to further industry knowledge through courses with intent to pursue an industry designation. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy. Sets priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. Ability to work in a team environment. Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Risk & Quantitative AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
