Our Solution Architect in Financial Services at COUNTRY Financial is responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing new and existing software solutions within the Life/Health area of COUNTRY. The Solution Architect is responsible for defining, communicating, and supporting the roadmaps for Life/Health technologies. In addition, Solution Architects serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. SAs write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements and identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. As an expert in the field, a successful candidate will use professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. A Solution Architect works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies. Proactively identifies, defines, and solves the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL. How does a Solutions Architect make an impact? Designs solutions after gathering business and technical requirements. Develops software solutions that are high performing and meet technical standards. Supports testing and problem solving/debugging of solutions. Implements software solutions following best practices. Do you have what we're looking for? Proven thought leadership within strategic function or discipline. Life/Health industry knowledge. Ability to champion major innovations that change and advance the industry and/or profession. Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Typically requires bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of information technology experience (or equivalent, such as 17 years of experience or master's degree and 12 years of experience) and 2 years lead experience.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
