The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment of, management of, and providing direction to the people who work in the organization through effective policies, procedures, guidelines, and support.
Human Resources Management is the organizational function overseeing compensation, hiring, performance management, organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training.
This team is responsible for employee relations, providing policy guidance to management and employees.
The primary purpose is to ensure our employees and leaders understand our policies, procedures, and guidelines; partnering with leaders to meet business objectives.
In general, the position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and administration of local and global policies and programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, organizational development, regulatory compliance to meet the business strategies and customer requirements within the framework of Catalents overall corporate philosophy and policies, external laws, and regulations.
This is a permanent, full time onsite position.
It is a salaried role.
The shift is Friday- Sunday 6am-6:
30pm with rotating Thursdays Catalent Biologics in Bloomington, Indiana is a state-of-the-art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services.

The Role:

Ensures implementation and utilization of policies, procedures, programs dealing with the specific activities of staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, HR information systems, etc.

Establishes and maintains an effective and credible relationship with both management and employees; works closely with management and supervision to provide support, planning and problem solving; fosters open communication with business partners and employee population.

Coaches, counsels, and guides managers on employee disciplinary actions (including terminations), performance improvement plans, and other employee relations issues.

Oversees the Conversion process for operators from contingent to full-time.

Conducts investigations.

Provides supervisory training to leaders.

Handles the Reasonable Suspicion process.

Visibility to employees on the floor.

Participates on interview panels in the candidate selection process.

Coordinates local recruiting activities, such as local job fairs, career days, etc.

Delivers orientation and onboarding to employees and leaders creates and delivers training and other presentations as appropriate.

Other duties as assigned The Candidate:

Bachelors Degree and 2-5 years broad and progressive experience in human resources, required.

Or in lieu of a Bachelors Degree, a minimum of 10 years of experience, required
PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
Exposure to pharmaceutical or related technical industries, preferred
Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.
