The Director of Accounting will be responsible for the management of Revenue through various streams.
They will also ensure accurate financial records and provide on-site financial support to the site General Managers, Operational leaders, and the VP of Finance.
The Role Manage Revenue Accounting, including customer contract review, and coordination with Technical Accounting on ASC 606 compliance analyses Oversee accounting close and reporting process including coordination with Corporate Controlling to ensure effectiveness of financial controls for corporate governance and SOX compliance Lead, manage and develop team by fostering an open environment aligned direction, prioritization, and empowerment Manage accounting issues and communicate effectively and timely Support interpretation/accounting of complex contractual agreements Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements Lead or support various ad hoc projects/initiatives Support interpretation of internal policy and U.

GAAP accounting standards Conduct balance sheet reviews Ensure effective financial controls and oversee compliance with SOX requirements Support internal/external financial reviews and audits Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high-level commitment to success.
Driving positive change management and process improvements within the accounting function Maintain the effectiveness of the financial controls for corporate governance and SOX compliance.
Learn about and gain a deep understanding of Catalent accounting policies as well as site policies and processes to ensure the financial statements are accurately reflected.
Find efficiencies in our processes and continuous improvement.
Site readiness for successful internal and external audits is required.
The Candidate Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required MBA or CPA required Public Accounting experience preferred 10-15 years progressive experience in the Finance/Accounting field Demonstrated leadership experience.
5-10 years supervisory experience or equivalent cross functional project leadership.
Experience with financial system implementation & restructuring processes.
