Job description Sponsel CPA Group Audit Manager Job Duties The ideal candidate must be able to successfully perform the following duties:
o Assist private company clients in reaching their goals through audit and assurance services.
o Ensure a company's annual earnings, expenditures and investments are reported with accuracy and completeness.
o Plan, review and prepare audits, reviews and compilations.
o Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.
o Identify areas of weakness in client internal control.
o Relationship building with clients and community contacts in an effort to contribute to business development of the firm.
o Serve as point of contact for clients.
o Communicate complex issues clearly to clients, supervisors and staff.
o Research the implications of audit standards and advise clients on related issues.
o Plan, direct, and execute various consulting projects.
o Manage, develop, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback.
Job Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree is required.
o Five plus years recent public accounting and managing experience.
o Must be a licensed CPA.
o Service-oriented, results-oriented, and welcomes structure and process.
o Ability to think beyond accounting and understands client issues and goals.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with many time constraints and deadlines.
o Must possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
o Team player who is respectful, outgoing, and positive.
o Excellent customer service and communication to clients and staff.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
