Periodic, a SproutBox company, seeks a high-energy entry-level sales representative who wants to learn and grow within this venture-backed company staffed with experienced entrepreneurs and investors. Grit, hustle, personality, and thick skin required. Only those with excellent written and oral communication skills will be considered.
On a typical day in this role, you might
Identify 30 new leads through online research and networking
Contact 15 qualified leads by phone or email
Deliver 2 or more customer proposals
Aggressively pursue leads in-person or over the phone
Travel nationwide to meet prospective customers at their place of business
Speak on the phone with current customers to understand their needs
Meet with prospective partners to discuss software integration, referral, or cross-promotion opportunities

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
