Cook Pharmica is a biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) with process development, clinical and commercial bulk drug substance manufacturing, formulation development, clinical and commercial parenteral drug product manufacturing, including liquid and lyophilized vials, prefilled syringes and secondary packaging, and an array of support services all at a single facility in Bloomington, IN. Primary Function
To maintain the SISPQ (Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, and Quality) of all GMP raw materials and process consumables entering the facility for use by production and to perform basic receiving, put-away, picking and shipping tasks, while operating under tight safety and quality procedures to ensure the safety of MMO personnel, raw material and finished product.
Essential Job Functions/Duties
o Maintain all required training certification to ensure performance is in compliance with approved cGMP procedures
o Perform initial inspection of incoming raw materials to eliminate risk of site and production contamination as required by the regulatory guidelines
o Perform receiving and put-away activities associated with high-value, temperature controlled, production critical GMP raw materials and process consumables
o Interface with integrated material management system to build multi-item raw material kits in support of a 24-7 production operation
o Based on a dynamic production schedule, schedule and deliver raw material kits to various GMP production areas of the facility
o Work in partnership with area quality, operations, and purchasing support to resolve quality and supply chain issues associated with incoming and in-house GMP raw materials and process consumables
o Must work and interact effectively with and for others to achieve company goals
o Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
o Must meet company attendance requirements
o Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
o Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various levels of the organization
o Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
o Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements
o Knowledge of Material Management concepts, practices and procedures
o Experience working with Integrated Material Management systems such as SAP
o Proven attention to detail
o Strong documentation skills
o Ability to drive a forklift or equivalent equipment
o High school diploma or equivalent
o 0-5 years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or scientific field preferred
o Requires a valid driver's license
o Required to sign confidentiality agreement
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
o Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 80 pounds on a consistent basis
o Capable of standing for a minimum of 6 hours, stooping, kneeling, climbing
o Potential limited exposure to hazardous chemicals
o Must be able to wear an air powered respirator
o Must be able to work in an environment that can affect an electronic implant device (i.e. pacemaker, auto injector, etc.)
o Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (pants and shirt) and appropriate shoes may be required in areas associated with this position

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
