Purpose and Objective
The Licensed Agent Trainee (LAT) is responsible for completing all licensure and education courses.
Upon successful completion of LAT training, the LAT promotes to the position of Licensed Agent (LA) and is responsible for educating, qualifying and enrolling prospects into insurance plans while upholding compliance and quality standards along with performing other telecenter duties.
Client provides certification hours necessary to take exam, pays for up to two attempts at the licensing exam, as well as pays for all costs associated with license renewals and continuing education.
Essential Functions (Primary)
Day to day functions include the following:
Field inbound calls with the objective of selling respective health insurance products
Place outbound calls as requested for prospecting and conducting beneficiary outreach
Deliver accurate information to prospects beneficiaries while maintaining quality and compliance standards
Study, understand, and utilize a complex working knowledge of product and insurance information
Effectively and intelligently communicate with prospective customers, members, management, and co-workers
Meet all requirements to maintain licensed agent status
Minimum Requirements
The following are required to perform the essential functions of the job:
Education
Experience: GED or high school diploma
Sales experience preferred
Experience with Windows basic computing skills
